That sounds interesting. I suppose the barbel would be at the weir, but i've never seen any, seems the weir doesn't hold many fish. Any ideas why?

Where abouts is the pumping station? I've heard about some part between The weir and Baswick that's supposed to be good... The weed is coming from a weed boom just above the weir, it stops the weed...

Fished again today,same area around wilfholme,wind was horrendous,I fished Pole and it made life quite difficult,got a good mixed bag and a fantastic PB perch of 2lb to top off the day... My mate also...

Otters are throughout the Hull system now and seals get up there. If it was one of these it's a seal!
